Why the New System Matters
The E-Certificate platform is expected to make it easier for students, job seekers, universities, and employers to access and verify academic credentials. It also helps combat certificate forgery through the use of blockchain-based verification technology.
For thousands of Kenyans who have misplaced their KCSE or KCPE certificates, the new platform offers a faster and more convenient way to obtain certified digital copies from anywhere in the country.
