Burangasi Teacher Murders Wife in Cold Blood

In a separate incident just days before, an English and Literature teacher at Burangasi Secondary School, identified as Patrick Wafula alias Zultan Farah, brutally killed his wife before facing mob justice.

Wafula, a well-known linguist, had a history of drug abuse and violent tendencies, which reportedly escalated due to mental health struggles. Reports indicate that in 2011, during his teaching practice at Lubinu Boys High School, Wafula’s attachment was abruptly terminated after he was caught smuggling illegal drugs into the school for students. Over the years, he battled substance abuse, depression, and erratic behavior, which may have contributed to the tragic end of his marriage.
