The National Youth Service (NYS) has unveiled new internship opportunities targeting female graduates living with disabilities (PWDs), with successful applicants set to earn a monthly stipend of KSh15,000.
In a notice released on Tuesday, September 16, NYS explained that the initiative falls under its domestic job linkages program, which seeks to connect its alumni with meaningful employment opportunities.
The internships are being offered in partnership with a logistics firm that has been championing the empowerment of women in the transport and logistics sector — an industry historically dominated by men.
