A section of Kenyans are demanding swift action from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after a disturbing video emerged online showing four men mercilessly flogging a woman.
The viral clip, which has sparked widespread outrage, captures the men dragging the unidentified woman on the ground before repeatedly whipping her as she screams in pain.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the assailants are her brothers.

Speculations indicate the assault may have stemmed from the woman’s decision to reject a marriage proposal allegedly arranged by the brothers in favor of a suitor of her own choice.
Reports further claim that dowry had already been paid by the rejected man, angering the family and prompting the violent punishment.
The video has triggered condemnation from across the country, with Kenyans online urging police to arrest and prosecute the suspects.
“This is unacceptable! The least we want to see is the arrest and arraignment of these fools. End Gender-Based Violence!” said Citizen TV reporter Stephen Letoo.
The Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA-Kenya) also condemned the act, confirming they are closely monitoring the case.
“We are following up on this incident and ask any person with information to share with us for immediate action,” the group said in a statement.
Police are yet to issue an official report on the incident, but pressure continues to mount on the DCI to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice.
