Panic and chaos erupted at Chemelil Sugar Academy in Kisumu County after an armed gang stormed the institution, attacking teachers, parents, and workers before making away with cash and other valuables.
The incident occurred on Thursday, June 18, as students returned to school following the half-term break.
According to reports, approximately 30 assailants descended on the school armed with crude weapons, including pangas, clubs, and bows.
