Investigations into the crash are ongoing, with authorities pointing to adverse weather conditions and possible human error as likely contributing factors.

This marks the second fatal road accident reported on Monday. Earlier, a Metrotrans matatu lost control and veered off the road along Kiambu Road, another area notorious for traffic incidents.

The Kiambu Road section from the DCI headquarters to Karura Forest has become a known accident blackspot due to its steep slopes and winding curves.

Motorists are continually advised to exercise extra caution when using such routes, especially during rainy conditions.

As investigations continue, families of the victims and the public await further updates on the identities and nationalities of those affected in the tragic Nyandarua crash.
